Saints of God it is imperative for you to know and fully comprehend the fact that you as a believing child of God have complete access to Him and all the pertains to Him.
Complete access to God
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 NKJV
“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.”
John 6:37-39 NKJV
“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV
Chosen saint of God not only do you have access to Him, you have all rights to Him.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
Romans 8:14-17 NKJV
Now chosen one think not only do you have all rights and access to God, you have been given by God the right to ask for what ever you have need of.Think of it this way you do have all rights to what is His.
Now what belongs to God?
“And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
Luke 11: 5-9
“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!””
Luke 11:10-13 NKJV
““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV
This powerful assuring scripture brings great comfort, our every need even before we know we need it, has already been provided by Our loving Heavenly Father.
Today treasured chosen child of God live in the blessed assurance, you have direct access to ABBA Father along with all rights to Him, and all rights to what belongs to Him.
“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”
Matthew 5:8 KJV
Pure in the Greek katharos: originally it means clean, used of soiled clothes which have been washed clean. Another meaning is that of corn cleansed of all chaff, and it is used of an army which has been purged of all discontented, cowardly, unwilling and insufficient soldiers, which is a force composed solely of first-class fighting men
Another meaning when in the company of another Greek word aerators it then means no tinge of alloy.
Put this all together the word katharos is unmixed, unadulterated, analloyed.
Blessed is the man whose motives are always entirely unmixed, for that man shall see God.
How is this possible because we are told the “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”
Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV
We are given a stern warning to keep our heart;
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 KJV
“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
Matthew 15:8 KJV
“Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.”
Matthew 15:11, 18-20 KJV
Ways to keep the heart pure.
“Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.”
Deuteronomy 10:16 KJV
“And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.”
Deuteronomy 30:6 KJV
“And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.”
Deuteronomy 30:2-3 KJV
Key word return.
Remember the great command; “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-7 KJV
So how do we keep our heart?
“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Psalms 119:9-11 KJV
God’s Way To Blessings 5
“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.”
Matthew 5:9 NKJV
Peace; from the Hebrew shalom, everything that makes for a mans highest good.
Please do not take this to mean in order to keep peace we appease disgruntled people or we take the attitude don’t rock the boat. The peace which the Bible calls blessed does bot come from evasion of issues; it comes from facing them, dealing with them, and overcoming them. This peace demands no fear of trouble when truly seeking what is correct before God, it means we do not look the other way when wrong is done in order to “keep the peace”.
Some scriptures a peace maker must live by;
“A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.”
Proverbs 15:1-2 NKJV
“How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!””
Isaiah 52:7 NKJV
“And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!””
Romans 10:15 NKJV
“Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.”
Romans 12:17-19 NKJV
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;”
Hebrews 12:14-15 NKJV
“For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.”
I Peter 3:10-11 NKJV
“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.”
Ephesians 2:14-18 NKJV
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 NKJV
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9 NIV
Called the children of God!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
Galatians 5:22, 24-26 NKJV
Gods Way To Blessing 3 notes
“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
Matthew 5:7 KJV
To truly discover and understand the full meaning of this one verse we must not only look at the Greek meaning, we must go to the Hebrew.
The Greek word eleemon; to be compassionate, it also carries with it the ability to have pity [to sympathize]
The Hebrew word which is untranslatable is chesedh; the ability to get right inside the other persons skin so much so we see with their eyes, think with their mind, and feel with their feelings.
Many times when mercy is needed we do not have the ability to give it because we are more concerned with our own point of view and our own feelings.
There is a French proverb that states to know all is to forgive all.
Thought; this is exactly what God did for us; in order for Him to be merciful He had to become man, flesh.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14 KJV
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:15-16 KJV
God got inside the skin of man.
The story of Queen Victoria visiting Mrs. Tulloch, Tulloch was slow in getting up to greet the Queen Tulloch just lost her husband as the Queen just lost her husband also.
The Queen responded to Tulloch I am not here as your Queen but as one woman who has lost her husband to another woman who has lost her husband.
Just think the King of all kings did not come to us detached, or the great majestic God that He is but He came…
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
Zechariah 9:9 KJV
Brothers and sisters it is imperative for us, just as we have received mercy we must give mercy.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:12-15 KJV
“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Matthew 9:13 KJV
“But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.”
Matthew 12:7 KJV
“Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.”
Matthew 18:32-35 KJV
Let us close with this thought;
O the bliss of the man who gets right inside of people, until he can see with their eyes, think with their thoughts, feel with their feelings, for he that does that will find others do the same for him, and will know that, that is what GOD IN JESUS CHRIST HAS DONE !
Gods way of Blessings 2
So far we have looked at the first four beatitudes, now before we go further I would like to put a
Hanukkah spin on it or if you will a Christmas spin. There is no doubt everything that we think of both these holidays is pointing to God and His blessing to us.
So what have I discovered about the first four beatitudes having a Christmas spin.
The first beatitude declares blessed are the poor in spirit;
We discovered that this actually means that God wants us to be so dependent upon Him just like that do a poor person being dependent or all His needs to be meet.
We must realize just as Christ is declaring to us to become this dependent He Himself lived in this fashion.
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
John 5:19, 30 KJV
“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;”
Matthew 4:1-12 KJV
All of this proves to us in the same way Jesus declares for us to be totally dependent upon Him, He Jesus totally lived His life in complete dependence upon God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
Now when we see blessed are they that mourn; Jesus was declaring the life that He Himself lived.
“And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.”
Mark 8:12 KJV
Sigh comes from the word to mourn or grieve groan
“When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.”
John 11:33, 38 KJV
“Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;”
Hebrews 5:7-9 KJV
Blessed are the meek; fresh from last week; the ability to know how be angry with control.
the bliss of the man who is always angry at the right time and never angry at the wrong time, who has every instinct, and impulse, and passion under control because he himself is God controlled, who has the humility to realize his own ignorance and his own weakness, for such a man is a king among men.
Blessed are they that hunger and thirst;
O the bliss of the man who longs for total righteousness as a starving man longs for food, and a man perishing of thirst longs for water, for that man will be truly satisfied.
As we close today think of it in this fashion the light of Hanukkah or if you will the light of lights yes the light of the world came and lived amongst us and lived how He expects us to live, just as He was poor in spirit totally dependent so we too must be, just as He mourned in His spirit we to must allow our spirit to mourn only to Him, who is able to comfort us with the comforting that we need. Then just as He Jesus kept His anger in control, may we with the Holy Spirits control upon our life live in such fashion. Then just as our light of the world hungered for the right things of the Heavenly Father may we do also.
As we receive Jesus the greatest Christmas gift ever given, may we allow Him by the power of the Holy Spirit to enable us to live everyday the beatitudes just as
“Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet. She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors:”1-3
A crying out and a lifting of the voice.
““To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men. O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart.”
Proverbs 8:4-5 NKJV
Simple: a person who cannot understand or grasp most concepts and who is lacking insight.
Prudence: good judgement, common sense
“Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips will come right things; For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are with righteousness; Nothing crooked or perverse is in them. They are all plain to him who understands, And right to those who find knowledge. Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold;”
Proverbs 8:6-10 NKJV
Thought: to him who understands it is plain and right to those who find knowledge.
“For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. 14
By me wisdom and understanding
Remember understanding simply means a putting together or comprehending or grasping of His word. The Spirit of God illuminates our hearts and gives us understanding of His wisdom.
By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. I traverse the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice, That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.”
Proverbs 8:11-21 NKJV
“I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was brought forth; While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep, When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth, Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him, Rejoicing in His inhabited world, And my delight was with the sons of men.”
Proverbs 8:23-31 NKJV
No doubt the I here is Jesus
““Now therefore, listen to me, my children, For blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, And do not disdain it. Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.””
Proverbs 8:32-36 NKJV
“Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table. She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city, “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed. Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.”
Proverbs 9:1-6 NKJV
The word picture here is come to my feast and not my drunken party.
Then note forsake foolishness and live.
Go in the way of understanding, a direct command.
““He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself. Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you will bear it alone.””
Proverbs 9:7-12 NKJV
The foolish woman’s call.
“A foolish woman is clamorous; She is simple, and knows nothing. For she sits at the door of her house, On a seat by the highest places of the city, To call to those who pass by, Who go straight on their way: “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here”; And as for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Stolen water is sweet, And bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of hell.”
Proverbs 9:13-18 NKJV
